This chart from BlueWater Reporting displays a breakdown of weekly allocated capacity for all Africa-Outbound trade deployed by Maersk Lines (As of 5/19/13). The largest share of capacity is dedicated to the Africa to Asia corridor, followed by Africa to Europe and Africa to the Mid-East and Indian Sub-Continent, respectively.
Maersk services across Africa deployed a weekly allocated capacity of 43,058 TEUs. More than eighty percent of the total capacity deployed by Maersk Lines from Africa transits the Africa to Asia and Africa to Europe/Mediterranean corridor.
