MSC Decreases Export & Import Capacity in Transpacific Trade

   Utilizing BlueWater Reporting's Trade Route Split Report, the above chart displays the allocated weekly capacity in the transpacific trade for Mediterranean Shipping Company (MSC) for the current 2013 year. The chart compares import and export capacity between Asia and North America (also including Canada and Mexico). According to the chart, import capacity to North America for the month of February decreased 15% from the January as well as export capacity which also saw a 15% decrease. So far for the 2013 year, MSC has seen a decline in capacity deployed in the transpacific trade.
