Asia to Mexico allocated capacity down from 2016

BlueWater Reporting's Capacity Report shows capacity on Asia to Mexico trade has decreased slightly since last year.
   This chart uses BlueWater Reporting's Capacity Report to show a quarterly snapshot of estimated allocated capacity on the Asia-Mexico trade lane for the past year.
   At the conclusion of November 2016, the estimated allocated capacity on the Asia to Mexico trade totaled 33,808 TEUs while the return on the Mexico to Asia trade totaled 13,270 TEUs. 
   In the most recent quarter, which ended in November 2017, the allocated capacity on the Asia to Mexico leg totaled 30,212 TEUs, a 10.63 percent decrease from the year before. Capacity on the return leg totaled 13,233 TEUs, a decrease of only 37 TEUs from the prior year.
