MSC deploys greatest capacity between Europe and Vancouver, BC

MSC deploys almost half of the total capacity moving between Vancouver and Europe.
   Utilizing BlueWater Reporting's Port Dashboard tool, the chart above shows the total deployed capacity for services connecting North Europe and the Mediterranean with Vancouver, BC. 
   Vancouver is currently called by 14 weekly liner services, three of which originate in Europe or the Mediterranean. The rest connect with Asia.    According to the data, the service with the greatest deployed capacity is MSC's California Express, at 90,123 TEUs, on a total of 10 vessels. It is followed by the MPS, jointly operated by Hapag Lloyd and Hamburg Süd, at 52,055 TEUs on 11 vessels. 
   Finally, the service with the least capacity is THE Alliance's AL5 at 49,227 TEUs on 10 vessels. The three services combined deploy 191,405 TEUs on 31 vessels.
