South America West Coast-North Europe capacity rising

  Utilizing data from BlueWater Reporting's Quick Capacity Report, this chart displays the capacity on the South America West Coast-North Europe trade lane on a quarterly basis from December 2016 to December 2017. Capacity is measured in estimated weekly allocated TEUs. 
  For the December 2016 reporting period, the estimated weekly allocated capacity on the eastbound leg totaled 14,661 TEUs, with 8,511 TEUs on the return leg. For the most recent completed quarter, ending December 31, 2017, the allocated capacity on the South America West Coast to North Europe leg increased by 3,409 TEUs year-over-year, totaling 18,070 TEUs. Capacity on the return leg was 10,925 TEUs, a year-over-year increase of 2,414 TEUs.
