2M Alliance... - Pearl/TP6 Vessel Encounters Engine Issue

   The MSC Ariane had to stop at sea on April 2 while en route from Xiamen to Los Angeles due to bad quality fuel resulting in an engine issue, according to a notice issued by Mediterranean Shipping Co. this Tuesday.
   The vessel has been diverted to Wakayama, Japan for repairs.
   BlueWater Reporting’s database shows the 14,036-TEU MSC Ariane has been operating on the 2M Alliance’s Pearl/TP6, which has a rotation of Cai Mep, Hong Kong, Yantian, Xiamen, Los Angeles, Yokohama, Xiamen and Cai Mep.
